This award-winning food truck now has a permanent home just up the road in Spring Hill. Deep south eats with a funky twist, the menu changes seasonally. Things To Do
Take a drive over to Arrington Vineyards for a wine tasting or picnic lunch on the hillside property. There are several tasting packages to choose from to tailor the experience to your needs. From April through October, stop by on the weekend for Music In The Vines, when you can sip wine while listening to live jazz and blue grass music every Saturday and Sunday.
The self-proclaimed “farmer’s market for those who grow it, raise it, make it & bake it,” the event runs all summer long every Wednesday at the Homestead Manor Barn. The event draws locals looking to stock the fridge or simply connect with the community.
Built in partnership with Mars Petcare and Outdoor Encounte, Nutro Dog Park is magnet for dog-lovers and nature-enthusiasts alike. The massive park covers 4 acres and can be access by the walking trail.
Events
The Thompson Station Dog and Pony Show is an annual festival every Fall to benefit the town parks. There’s live music, local craft vendors, activities for kids and, of course, dog and horse demonstrations.
Each spring, downtown Franklin is completely taken over by this two day, free festival. One of the biggest in the southeast, there is music, food, crafts and tons of fun for the whole family.
Head over to Franklin’s local gallery, Ansbach Artisans, on the last Saturday of the month for this free live demonstration from the artists. There’s a live jazz band playing while artists paint, sketch and sculpt.
Try the local eats and sip spirits in historic downtown Thompson Station. The summer event draws locals and visitors to explore the heart of the small town with delicious food and drinks.
