Giving Back to the Charleston Community

Crescent Homes announces its first official philanthropy program, GIVE. The program will donate $250 toward a local Charleston charity with every home sale. With 14 active communities currently selling in the tricounty area and no annual cap, there is great potential for sizable donations to each of the non-profits.

GIVE will partner with five different local Charleston organizations every quarter. Crescent Homes homebuyers can select which group to support, and a donation of $250 will be given in their name to the foundation of their choice. By bringing attention to a wide variety of foundations, Crescent Homes aims to create relationships between local groups and our homebuyers.

Lee Miller, VP of Marketing, explains the goal of the program:
“We are a local Charleston business. We love this place we call home and being part of its evolution and growth, so what better way to do that than involving our homebuyers? We want to build beautiful, quality homes, but also help establish a strong sense of community with each home or neighborhood we build. This allows us to do both. GIVE is our way of giving back to the community that supports us.”

GIVE launched earlier this month and this quarter’s focus will support Camp Happy Days, Charleston Animal Society, Habitat for Humanity, Be A Mentor, and Ronald McDonald House during the first quarter.

Crescent Homes was founded on the commitment to be progressive, to continuously strive for improvement and to always go beyond the standard. The GIVE program extends that mission beyond home building to spread awareness and goodwill throughout Charleston.
