These days Charleston is topping a lot of ‘Best’ lists, and now the city can also boast being on MyLife.com’s “10 Best Midsize Cities for College Graduates”. Charleston, SC came in at number four on this year’s list.
The factors that were considered for the ranking included:
- Unemployment rate
- Percentage of residents that fall between 25-34 years old
- Percentage of residents with a Bachelors degree or higher
- Average rent rates
- Number of restaurants and bars per capital
Charleston ranked in the top 15 for three of the five categories. The overall ranking was decided by scoring the cities in each category and then dividing the total for an average.
