As we transition into the 2015 holiday season, there’s still plenty of time to take advantage of all the entertainment options the Holy City has to offer. Below is a brief list of events that you need to add to your itinerary today.

15th Annual Gospel Christmas – December 5th

Guest conductor, Rollo Dilworth will head this year’s gospel concert to celebrate the holiday season. It’s one of the most heralded events of the year, so don’t forget to order your tickets today.

35th Annual Charleston Christmas Parade – December 6th

Going on its 35th year, the annual Charleston Christmas Parade will feature holiday-themed floats and vehicles from businesses, organizations and more from around the area. The parade will start at Broad and Barre Streets, and end on King and Calhoun St. with the arrival of Santa Claus.

Holiday Parade Of Boats and Oysters on the Point – December 12th

A yearly event enjoyed by thousands of spectators each year, the 34th annual parade of boats will begin at 5 p.m., on the Mt. Pleasant side and end around 7:30 p.m. further down the Ashley River on the Charleston side. A sister party, complete with fresh oysters and live music, will start at the Point shortly after. Admission is $5.

Men’s Shopping Night On King Street – December 17th

Guys, let the wonderful vendors who line King Street help take some of pressure off of holiday shopping this year. Men’s Shopping Night On King Street will feature everything from complimentary drinks to exclusive discounts at over a dozen locations.

Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker – December 24th

An iconic performance, and must-see event, the Moscow Ballet will perform “The Nutcracker” at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. There will be two performances at noon and 4 p.m. for your convenience. Visit the PAC’s box office or their website to purchase tickets.
